Support from you and other people who care about trails in Alabama has led to some great successes since the Alabama Trails Foundation started. We’ve worked with partners like the Alabama Forestry Commission to add an accessible trail to the top of Flagg Mountain, and helped in restoring and reopening the beautiful stone observation tower there, last opened in the 1990s. We continue to work with partners all along the Pinhoti Trail to improve access and provide a better user experience all while improving trail resilience.
Help us to continue working to improve Alabama’s trails infrastructure, starting with our work along the Pinhoti Trail. We need your help to improve access to the Jogloma-Scott Lake area of the trail. We need ongoing support as we work to help make Flagg Mountain an important asset for arts in Appalachia.
